What areas of the UK do you cover?

We currently cover mainland Scotland, England and Wales. If you're unsure if we cover your area, just ask, we more than likely do!

Question 2

How often should I have a stocktake done?

We recommend monthly as the longer the gap between visits, the more your stock is 'left to its own devices' leading to issues.
Having said that, we work to what you need form us and you set your own preferred schedule, monthly, six-weekly, bi-monthly, Quarterly or even just annual.

Do you offer one-off stocktakes or only regular contracts?

Regular visits are recommended but if you only need our team to run a one-off valuation we're happy to help

Question 4

Can your service be tailored to our practice size or needs?

Accepted Answer

Of course. For a small practice you may just require one stocktaker for the day. For larger practices with multiple stock areas, and/or vehicles containing equipment/supplies, you may need more than one stocktaker on the day. When you contact us we're ascertain the size of your practice and we can go from there.

Question 5

Do you physically visit the site, or is it done remotely?

Our stocktakers physically visit your practice. We can only base a result on counts done by our team so remote reporting wouldn't be an option.

Question 6

Can you integrate with our current practice management or stock system?

Accepted Answer

Our stocktakers are used to using a range of systems. Many of the current, most popular systems used in veterinary practices are not yet designed for detailed stock management in the way we would like (we're working on this with them), but we can extract the main required information from all modern systems.

Do you cover controlled drugs and temperature-sensitive items?

Accepted Answer

Of course. All of our stocktakers are CRB checked and experienced in handling of controlled drugs and temperature-sensitive items. Our team are highly professional and all are employed directly by ourselves, we use no franchise or agency stocktakers.

How long have you been providing stocktaking services for vets?

We have been in business for over 30 years, originally as a hospitality stocktaking company. 
In 2024 we took on our first veterinary client and saw the need for our service in this industry. 
So while we are relatively new to counting veterinary medicines, our team have combined decades of experience in stocktaking with a high focus on accuracy in counts and reporting which we are now able to offer to your business.
